JUNE 2010
It's suddenly very very busy, it looks like filming for a new photography-based series will take place at the end of the month, whoops there I've said too much already but if you
follow me on Twitter (@KARENPARKER) I'll tweet the latest. All very exciting although whether I'll make 'good telly' remains a mystery. At least mother will be proud(!)
The new Stani Gallery in Stony Stratford have suggested displaying my work to tie-in with the tv thing and I've started work on some limited editions (including at long last, an
online gallery) I love it when a plan comes together...
Spent a wonderful afternoon in deepest Olney with Karen & assorted dogs: Pepper, Jake and Lola, great portraits, ice-cream in the garden and then off to the brook - delightful.

It was hot to trot! We had a great day out in Lambourn - so many handsome horses and big thanks to Mike and all the trainers to let us mooch around. More horses later this week when we visit a yard in deepest Notts (thanks to Clare at Blue Chip Feed for the intro, she's a top girl.)

Visited Retford and huge thanks must go to to Jeremy and Ben who was our guide, we photographed top steed 'Dock of the Bay' what a character! Slystick Hill the stunning grey and we would have loved to have taken Mr Jeremy home with us... we were grinning all the way home. The thumbnails don't do them justice, these are gorgeous large(!)

MAY 2010
Possibly something happening with a national broadcaster, can't say anything else. No really. Niet. But we can reveal that a very nice man called Mike will be taking
us around Lambourn where we hope to meet some wonderful racehorses. Also due to demand for big print, we're on the lookout for a new large format fine art printer!
FEB-APR 2010
It's a major refurb ~ a coming together of skips, digestives, teas with five sugars, plumbers, sparks and at one point, two front doors and a window acting as a letterbox.
JAN 2010
Karen Parker has been commissioned by the RSPCA to shoot a rehoming campaign. Woof.
NOV 2009
A great day at The Supreme so many top cats and the BIS Kisschase, what a star! Now talking of cats, MK Cats Protection is choc-full so Bailey is here to stay. His eye infection
has cleared but he has hyperthyroidism so he's on tablets and still rather skinny but he has adopted the big blue cushion in the bay window and from there, he watches the world go
by. He's also deaf and has one fang, he won't bite you but he might give you a nasty suck...

OCT 2009
Latest Mews... Karen Parker is the official photographer at 'The Supreme Cat Show'. This is where the best of best fight it out (not literally) to be the Supreme Champion, and Best In Show. The Supreme Cat Show is organised by the wonderfully sounding 'General Council for the Cat Fancy' and takes place at the NEC.
SEPT 2009
On a trip we were befriended by a cat that was skin & bones and had a double eye infection. We couldn't leave him so Bailey travelled home with us to recuperate in the studio.

AUG 2009
Karen Parker was longlisted in The Sunday Times/Terry O’Neill Awards for her fine art horse photography (shires), there were 700 international entries & these were whittled down to 70, she made it through but when the final cut was made (to just 35) she were bumped. Close but no cigar.

JUL 2009
It's was sad to hear that it would be the last ever Royal Show but we donned our wellies and got stuck in and got some cracking images.
