In the Studio - We’ve Got Great Tiffs
In her private self-contained studio (based in Bucks) digibacks are used which provide 50mb files, perfect from trade/consumer press to large format display including billboard, POS and exhibition. An inhouse printing (up to A2) and retouching service is also provided.
On Location ~ Nikon with Knobs On
Nikon is used exclusively when on location; this makes it possible to work in low light (without the need for additional lighting) and with the ability to shoot at 9 frames per second, it's possible to capture things that run away.
Experience
Whilst working with animals, you can only plan up to a point and the unexpected is appreciated and the unplanned is welcomed. Photographing pets and animals is not something you learn from a textbook.
